What we measure.
Short version: which modes and characters get played, which pages get read, and which buttons get pressed. Nothing that identifies you, and nothing at all until you have said yes.
What is measured
- Which screen you are on — home, a lobby, a match, the standings.
- Which mode you chose, and which characters you seated.
- The shape of a match — how many people, how many characters, at what difficulty, how long it ran and how it ended.
- Whether a feature was used — the chat bar, the speed control, a wall, the chained six.
- Which pages get read on this site, and which links get pressed.
What is not
- Nothing you say. Chat is a conversation between people at a table. Only that it happened, and how long it was.
- No join codes. A code is a way into somebody's table for an evening; it never leaves the game.
- No names, addresses or photographs. A signed-in player is a random identifier that means nothing outside this project.
- No advertising. Advertising storage is never requested, because there is no advertising in this product.
Turning it off
Until you answer the bar at the foot of the page, nothing is stored on your device and the numbers are anonymous and aggregate. Saying no keeps it that way for good.
In the game, the same switch lives in Settings → Anonymous usage data, and it can be turned off again at any point.
Measurement uses Google Analytics 4 in Consent Mode, with advertising features off. Sign-in, if you use it, is Firebase Authentication — an email address or a Google account, held to identify you at a table and for nothing else. Questions: hello@ludoo.online.
